Oak Class enjoyed a day at local estate, Melbury. We learnt many aspects of the day to day running of the estate and countryside management. This included:

- How to be a butler

- Croquet

- Equestrianism

- Gamekeeping

- Deer Park

- Woodland management

- Falconry

In the afternoon, we visited Melbury Dairy and saw first-hand the working dairy farm. We saw the cows being milked and fed. We also saw how the dairy produces its own electricity as well as many other interesting technological feats. The children particularly enjoyed seeing Juno the feeding robot!
