The children from Barwick and Stoford celebrated the 80th anniversary of D Day with a street (playground) party. We had cake, sandwiches and squash. The children from Sycamore also made biscuits with Liz Inkelaar. We had an assembly looking at some artefacts from the Yeovil History Centre, and learnt about how our local area supported the war efforts. The children enjoyed looking at the red cross helmet and American GI uniform.  We also saw photos from Mr Firth, who was part of the commemorations with veterans in Normandy. Thanks to all that contributed.
